As usual, our school seem to be quite a popular choice for events to be held which includes today's event which is the Inter-school District Level Football Match 2012. Since our school field cannot accommodate more than one game at any one given time, the under 15 matches will be held at a neighbouring school.
And because of that, many teachers are not around, in addition to those who have gone for courses and meetings (parents please complain that teachers are not in school often enough! Please!!!) So, to overcome this situation, this Programme Imtiaz has been set up, albeit a bit ad hoc, for the form 5 students, whereby some teachers sit out with the students for more than two hours while students attempt to answer questions assigned to them.
The thing is, some of these students do not realise the importance of these exercises given to them, so much so that they use the test papers given to them to wipe the dusty tables they were using. And it is no wonder, the test papers which were printed to cater to all 160 plus students, turned out not to be enough! And what is even worse is (I was patient enough to tolerate their talking during the tests!!!) some of them were actually sleeping it off and a few of them were busy turning back to their friends to talk (I don't even want to know the reasons!)
Whether or not this programme achieves its objectives (indeed, if there any, since it was done in such an impromptu manner!) is left to be seen!
