On 28th May 2012, a group of Pre-U teachers and their students gathered at the old building of the STAR primary school.  It was all hands on the pump, when present did every thing they could to get the furniture placed in their respective rooms, including the classes and the teachers' room.

Minggu ini merupakan minggu ketiga orientasi para pelajar Pra-U Bawah 2012/2013.  Sepanjang minggu sebahagian besar pelajar dilihat begitu sibuk melakukan kerja-kerja membersih bilik-bilik kelas, pusat sumber dan bilik guru.  Untuk makluman, keseluruhan unit Pra-U SMKTAR akan berpindah ke bangunan asal SK Tuanku Abdul Rahman yang kini telah berpindah ke bangunan baru.

This year, the Pre-U students of SMKTAR has been given a free hand (well, almost!) at running the show to celebrate Teachers Day.  There was not much buzz about the organizing of the big day amongst the students because I (and most of the other teachers, as well!) expected things would have started at least a month before.

When you think about it positively, another cooking competition is not really that bad at all.  Aside from doing something that students like (and teachers, too1), the cooking competition also helps to further foster the good relationship between the students; not just inter-class relationship but also inter-racial relation ship.

Hari ini bermulalah dunia baru baru sebilangan lepasan SPM 2011 bilamana mereka mula mendaftar untuk menjadi pelajar Pra-U SMKTAR ambilan 2012/2013.  Pendaftaran pelajar baru, yang bermula se awal jam 8.00 pagi turut menyaksikan beberapa orang bekas pelajar SMKTAR sendiri turut serta mendaftar, sebahagian besar daripada mereka diiringi oleh ibu-bapa masing-masing.

Even though today is Sunday, a few of our very hardworking Pre-U girls have agreed to lend a helping hand (much appreciated!) in painting the newly acquired room which has now been called the Pre-U Resource Center.  The activity of painting the room was initiated by Pn Siti Helena Malawi (I jokingly suggested that the center be named Al-Malawi Resource Center!)

The Scouts movement of the Pre-U students had a very diverse set of activities, some not directly related to the uniform unit.  Nevertheless, the activities are just as important if they were to conduct activities that are directly related to the Scouts movement.
