Hermit Crabs : Are We?

Star Q

You know, I initially felt like the proverbial hermit crab (or umang-umang in Bahasa Malaysia!) when we were instructed to move into the old primary school building, which had been abandoned for two years (maybe more!)  The previous owners, i.e. the original hermit crabs, had moved on to greener pastures with better accommodation and facilities.

Well, today another big (read biiiiiggg!!!) group of hermit crabs made their slow and arduous exodus to the place where we had left empty.  The students of forms one, two and three, specifically the first two classes for each of the forms, carried their desks and chairs to the second and third floors of the administration building to occupy the 'shells', i.e. the classes that we had left vacant.

These students in turn left their shells for other hermit crabs to occupy.  I guess, in one way, it may be a good idea to emulate the habit of the hermit crab for want of a better place to study.  However, it is hoped that the idea is not taken so liberally that, instead of becoming hermit crabs, we are forced to become hermits!  LOL!
