A Piece of Mind

It is often not easy to make choices, especially those that may in some way determine your future.  It was much easier when the choices, in this case regarding education, was made by your parents.  In short, when you were younger, you did not have any choices, since they were made for you!

But now, when you come to that almost-adult age, some of life's choices have become your burden.  And of course, some of these decisions include your education.

For six formers, there is always a thousand and one education outlets to choose from.  Choices like, whether or not to pursue a diploma course, or take up skills related education or in fact, take up form six.  The choice can be a daunting one because, as mentioned earlier, it also shapes your future.

To some however, the choice of leaving form six seems very obvious and quite an easy one to make.  But these young adults need to remember the very reason why they enter form six in the first place and whether they will achieve similar opportunities by leaving.  

That having said, the choice is in your hands.  There will always be people that you can turn to for advice and guidance, if only you choose to make the attempt to ask for them.  Again, the choice is yours.
