Saturday the 9th of February 2013, saw the start of a long school holiday mainly in conjunction with the Lunar New Year which incidentally falls on Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday has been declared a special holiday, while Thursday and Friday are replacement holidays (Thursday's school day has already been replaced on 19/1/13)
In all our excitement for the holidays, it is unfortunate to hear that one of our Pre-U students had an accident. A chat with the student's father after Friday prayer revealed that he, Abid, had fallen from the first floor where his classroom is located. He fell to the ground, feet first, and broke both of his bones near his calf.
To all Pre-U students, and other students in general, do take care of yourselves, so that you will always stay safe to pursue your education and your future, In syaa Allah.
